Your story: You have a story. This unique, valuable tale expresses the thoughts, feelings, and events of your life. Working together, we will make this priceless information available to your family, friends, and perhaps even a larger audience. To those who love you, your story is  more meaningful, personal, and exciting than the repetitive biographies of movie stars or political figures. Your biography, prepared and printed as a beautiful book, is a permanent legacy that will enrich your own life and stay with your family forever.

How will your biography be published? Imagine holding your beautiful book, ready to send to family and friends. It is well written, illustrated with photographs, and professionally produced. A daunting project? Not really! Here are the easy steps needed to accomplish it:

1. Over a few meetings, we will talk about your life, and record our conversations.

2. I will turn your memories into a manuscript, combining  your voice and personality with my professional writing skill and style, and submit it to your approval.

3. The book will be published by a highly reputable Print-On-Demand publisher. Stored electronically, it will never go out of print or require a second edition. The publisher will print as many or as few books as you wish, so you never invest large sums in a huge edition at a vanity press.

4. All publishing expenses will be paid out of my flat fee for writing the book, and you will receive four free books. Additional copies may be ordered directly from the publisher,  Barnesandnoble.com, or Amazon.com.

My credentials: I am a published author who specializes in personal memoirs, biography, and oral histories. I write books and articles, and contribute regularly to an award-winning encyclopedia. I will be happy to send you some sample pages from my books. In addition, I am a member of the Association of Personal Historians.  This is an international organization, made up of people who come from fascinating and diverse backgrounds. The shorter version: If you prefer, I can create a shorter, basic version of your biography. The booklet will have about ten pages and up to five photographs. It can become the core of a permanent scrapbook for your family.  This version will be produced in-house in a desktop publishing format, and bound in a way that will allow you to remove the pages easily and photocopy as many booklets as you wish.
